Rebecca Clark

Director of the CHS Dance Program

Mrs. Clark has her BFA in Dance Performance and Education from Towson University and her MS in Curriculum and Instruction with a Focus on Administration from McDaniel College.  This is her 22nd year teaching in the Maryland Public School System with 19 of those years at Centennial High School.  She has written dance curriculum for both Baltimore and Howard counties.  She has served as an Executive Board member for the Maryland Council for Dance as well as being on the Executive Committee for the Maryland Association of Health, PE, Recreation and Dance.  Currently she is Centennial High School's PE and Fine Arts Instructional Team Leader. 

Awards: 2019 National Dance Society's P-12 Master Dance Educator of the Year, 2019 NDS Ovation Award, Simon McNeely from MAHPERD, Maryland’s Dance Educator of the Year from MAHPERD, and Dance Educator of the Year for the Eastern District of AAHPERD.
